Valerie, a native of Beverly, MA, is a 48 year old wife and mother of three beautiful young girls. She is a loving Daughter, Sister and Friend who for the past 22 years has made Brick Township, New Jersey home.

A devoted, passionate and giving woman who cares deeply for family and friends, Valerie has dedicated her life to faith and family, serving as a Deacon at Brick Presbyterian Church. Eleven years ago, Valerie extended her commitments to children and began working as a paraprofessional with preschoolers on the Autism Spectrum. She loves her work at the Local Public School System and finds it a fulfilling way to “give back” to others.

In 2012, Valerie was diagnosed with Triple Negative Stage 3 Breast Cancer, a very rare and aggressive form of cancer. Originally contained in her breast and left lymph nodes. Within a year’s period she underwent a double Mastectomy, chemotherapy and finally radiation.

Shortly into her treatment, Brick Township was hit by Hurricane Sandy, leaving the Napolitano family’s home damaged and without heat or electricity for an extended period of time.

In December 2013 she had reconstructive surgery. Sadly, only weeks later, she learned that the cancer has now spread throughout her body.

Valerie is very strong and always has a very positive attitude and a zest for life which makes her a pleasure to be around.

My friends, at this time I am asking if you are able, for your assistance in helping her family to cope with this devastating diagnosis for which there is currently no cure, only experimental treatments. Val is brave enough to take on the experimental treatments in order to make every effort to be around to watch her children grow up and be there to continue the work she so loves.

Valerie’s ability to work and travel will soon be compromised, as she will need to attend regular appointments, take expensive medication and will need to leave her family at times to obtain treatment at a Boston Massachusetts hospital.

Thank you so much for anything you can do for Valerie and The Napolitano Family!

Your prayers, thoughts and wishes mean a lot and we appreciate the way people have rallied to help claim Victory for Val!
